Intellectual Property List

"Intellectual property case" means:

(a) any proceeding for infringement or the determination of the validity of :

• a patent granted under the Patents Act or the Patents Act 1952 of the Commonwealth
• a trade mark registered under the Trade Marks Act
• a design registered under the Designs Act
• EL rights allegedly subsisting under the Circuit Layouts Act
• the design of a logo provided for by the Advance Australia Logo Protection Act
• a protected design provided for by the Olympic Insignia Protection Act
  OR
• copyright allegedly subsisting under the Copyright Act.

(b) an application, appeal or other proceeding under a subject Act, whether or not joined with any other claim or cause of action.

(c) other matters admitted to the List by the Judge-in-Charge for good reason.
