Pre Trial Conferences
Pre-trial conferences are a form of dispute resolution that usually take place after a proceeding has been set down for trial.
The Prothonotary or the Senior Deputy Prothonotary normally conduct pre-trial conferences.
The Court or the Prothonotary may give notice to the parties to attend a pre-trial conference or parties may attend by consent (see Rule 48.12 - Chapter I).
Pre-Trial Conferences are listed by the PTC Clerk in the Listing Section once the Listing Master makes an Order.
Adjournments of pre-trial conferences are generally possible but must be by arrangement with the Registry and usually only with the written consent of all parties.
