Judgments and Summaries (via Library Catalogue)

A large number of unreported judgments, sentencing remarks and judgment summaries dating from the 1950s to the present, can be accessed via the Supreme Court Library Catalogue. Search the Judgments section by party name, judge, date etc. Judgment records have pdf versions of the judgment attached, except where the judgment has been reported in the Victorian Reports.

Recent Judgments and Sentences

Recent Court of Appeal Judgments are available from the Recent Court Of Appeal Judgments link.

Recent Trial Division Judgments (including sentences) are available from the Recent Trial Division Judgments link.

Judgments and Sentences on AustLII

Unreported judgments of both the Court of Appeal and the Trial Division are also available on the AustLII (AUSTralasian Legal Information Institute) Web Site under the Victorian section of the site. They are supplied by the Court as soon as practicable after judgment has been delivered.  Please note that recently loaded judgments and sentences may not be immediately searchable using the AustLII search engine.
