Civil List

The Listing Master is responsible for the fixing of dates of Civil matters for trial before the Judges in the Supreme Court and the drawing up, maintenance and co-ordination of Lists of such cases. The Listing Master also ensures to the greatest extent possible the smooth flow of proceedings to trial and maximises the efficient use of Judges' time, of courts, and of other resources of the Court.

Registry

The Registry can provide advice in relation to:

• notice of trial and payment of fees
• entries in the Printed List of Civil Business Pending
• filing of Notices of Discontinuance
• filing of Court Books

Associate

The Associate can provide information on:

• urgent listings
• speedy trials
• requests for adjournment
• vacating a trial date

Deadlines for Filing

Parties should adhere to Court Orders and the Rules in relation to deadlines. An application should be made to the Master if parties are seeking an extension of time for compliance if extension is not consented to by the other parties.
