Since 1 July 2018, the preferred supplier of transcripts in civil proceedings at the Supreme Court of Victoria is Auscript Australasia Pty Ltd (www.auscript.com (External link) or 03 9672 5601).

 

All parties to civil proceedings are required to arrange for transcript for all civil trials.

 

Additionally, parties in the following divisions or lists are required to arrange transcript provision at the commencement of their proceeding and for all directions hearings and all other interlocutory hearings:

  • Commercial Court – all matters

  • Major Torts List, Common Law Division

  • Professional Liability List, Common Law Division

  • Valuation, Compensation and Planning List, Common Law Division

  • Employment and Industrial List, Common Law Division

Any questions relating to the Court’s requirement for the provision of transcript should be put in an email addressed to the chambers of the judge managing the matter.
