eFiling will be introduced in the Court of Appeal on 30 September 2019.

Electronic filing will be introduced in the Court of Appeal on 30 September 2019, following the successful transition of the Commercial Court, Common Law Division and Costs Court in July 2018, and Criminal Division in January 2019.

From 30 September 2019, most documents will be required to be filed electronically using RedCrest, the Supreme Court’s eFiling portal.

In the lead up to the commencement of eFiling, the Supreme Court will be providing information sessions that cover an introduction to RedCrest, registration and how to lodge and manage documents.

Practitioners who regularly file documents with the Court of Appeal are recommended to attend these sessions to familiarise themselves with RedCrest and its features.

The free sessions will run for 45 minutes.
