The form for notifying the Victorian Court of Appeal in a criminal proceeding that a legal practitioner has ceased to act for a party.

Use the notice that legal practitioner has ceased to act form to notify the Victorian Court of Appeal under r 2.04 of the Supreme Court (Criminal Procedure) Rules 2017 that the legal practitioner has ceased to act for a party.

Note: Unless another legal practitioner has filed a notice that that practitioner is now acting for the party, a practitioner may not file a notice of ceasing to act without first obtaining leave of the Registrar of Criminal Appeals, or, if leave is refused by the Registrar, the Court of Appeal.
