This Practice Note sets out the practice followed in Court of Appeal civil applications (including for leave to appeal) and appeals.
This Practice Note was reissued on 10 March 2026, replacing the earlier versions issued on 14 April 2025, 30 September 2019 and 30 January 2017. It applies to all civil applications and appeals in the Court of Appeal, whenever commenced.
