The purpose of this Practice Note is to promote the effective use of technology in the conduct of civil litigation to reduce time and costs. This Practice Note sets out the Court’s expectations in relation to the use of technology, the facilities which the Court is able to provide, and protocols which may be employed. Specific guidance regarding the use of technology in a particular List or Division of the Court may be found in other Practice Notes, and as part of the Court’s guidance on Virtual Hearings.

This Practice Note was issued on 29 June 2018 and commences on 2 July 2018. It replaces the original version which commenced on 30 January 2017.
