A class action brought on behalf of all persons who regularly used and came into contact with the glyphosate based herbicide product 'Roundup', and as a consequence contracted Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. The plaintiff alleges that the defendant designed, manufactured and sold Roundup products in Australia, and that Roundup products are dangerous to human health.

The plaintiff claims the defendant was negligent and that the Roundup products had a safety defect within the meaning of the Australian Consumer Law.

Case schedule

On 9 April 2020, the Honourable Justice John Dixon made orders transferring this proceeding to the Federal Court of Australia. The class action will no longer be heard in the Supreme Court of Victoria.
