Watch the ceremony marking the appointment of the 2023 Senior Counsel
On Wednesday 8 November a ceremony marking the appointment of 25 Senior Counsel in and for the State of Victoria will be held at the Supreme Court.
The Hon. Anne Ferguson, Chief Justice of Victoria, will formally address the Silks at 9.15am in a livestreamed ceremony.
The list of 2023 Senior Counsel was announced on 18 October. The Silks were chosen from 80 applicants after a thorough consultation with the Victorian Bar, the broader profession, the Legal Services Commissioner and the judiciary.
A recording of the event will be published on the Court’s website following the ceremony.
