Chief Justice welcomes judges to the Court of Appeal and Trial division.

Chief Justice Ferguson warmly welcomes newly appointed judges to the Supreme Court and congratulates those judges appointed to the Court of Appeal.

The Attorney-General today appointed Justice Terence Michael Forrest and Justice Karin Leigh Emerton to the Court of Appeal.

Commencing 10 July, Ms Lesley Ann Taylor QC has been appointed to the Criminal Division and Mr Steven James Moore QC to the Common Law Division.

Mr Andrew James Tinney SC commences as a judge in the Criminal Division on 16 July.

Welcome ceremonies for their Honours are as follows;

The Court will welcome Justice Taylor in a ceremony on Tuesday 17 July at 9:15am.

A welcome ceremony for Justice Moore will be on Thursday 26 July at 9:15am.

Justice Tinney will be welcomed on Tuesday 31 July at 9:15.

All ceremonies will be livestreamed on the Supreme Court website.
