Court fees increase on 1 July 2026

Court fees will increase from 1 July 2026. 

Updated fee lists are now available to download in advance to assist court users to prepare for the new rates: 

• Download Prothonotary’s fees 
• Download Probate Office fees 
• Download Court of Appeal fees

Fees payable to the Court are prescribed by the Supreme Court (Fees) Regulations 2018 and the Juries (Fees) Regulations 2022. Fees are adjusted annually on 1 July in accordance with the rate fixed by the Treasurer under the Monetary Units Act 2004.  

From 1 July 2026, the updated fees will automatically apply in the Court’s eFiling systems, RedCrest, RedCrest-Probate and RedCrest-Search.
