The Court operating hours during the holiday period.
The Court will be closed on the following public holidays:
- Christmas Day
- Boxing Day
- New Year’s Day
With the exception of public holidays, all registries will remain open. Services supporting urgent matters and applications will continue as usual. Find out more about urgent applications.
Access to Court buildings
The building entrance at 485 Lonsdale Street (Trial Division) will be closed from 29 December 2021 to 9 January 2022 (inclusive). Normal operations resume on 10 January 2022. All other building entrances will be open between 9am – 5pm.
The Law Library of Victoria will be closed from 17 December 2021 to mid-January 2022. Digital services, including support for judges and practitioners, will continue throughout the holiday season.
