Judgments in relation to applications made and summonses filed in four matters, each a group proceeding related to COVID-19, was handed down by the Honourable Justice John Dixon of the Supreme Court of Victoria on 16 December 2021.
The four matters are the:
- COVID-19 Security Contractors (Personal Injury) Group Proceeding (Markovic v Unified Security Group – S ECI 2020 03679);
- Flemington Towers Group Proceeding (Hassan v van Diemen – S ECI 2021 00826);
- Epping Gardens Aged Care Group Proceeding (Agnello v Heritage Care – S ECI 2020 3282); and
- St Basil’s Aged Care Group Proceeding (Fotiadis v St Basil’s – S ECI 2020 3339).
