Justice Jane Dixon has sentenced Nathan Missen to 21 years’ imprisonment, with a non-parole of 17 years, for the murder of his father Mark Missen.

“Regardless of the pressures you have felt yourself to be under in late January 2016, you and you are alone are responsible for killing your father in an episode of appalling brutality,” Justice Dixon said.
