Justice Elizabeth Hollingworth has sentenced Saeed Noori to life imprisonment, with a non-parole period of 30 years, for the murder of Antonios Crocaris and in relation to 11 charges of recklessly causing serious injury and five charges of conduct endangering life.

The charges all relate to the actions of Mr Noori on 21 December 2017, who drove his mother’s SUV into pedestrians crossing at an intersection at Flinders and Elizabeth streets.

“Your actions have profoundly affected the lives of so many people – not only those who were there at the scene, but also people in the wider community,” Justice Hollingworth said.
