Changes to court file and litigation searches take effect from today

Changes to court file and litigation search requests take effect from today, with the launch of eAccess.

eAccess is an electronic search function which integrates file and litigation search processes with the Court’s eFiling system, RedCrest. Please note, however, that this change does not apply to searching probate records.

How to make a search request

The Court has created the following guides and resources on how to make a search request via eAccess:

The Supreme Court’s website also has further information on searching court records and obtaining copies of documents, outlining the new process in detail.

Anyone who wishes to make a search request can download the Application to Search a Court File or Record form from the website as well.
