The Court of Appeal (Justice Phillip Priest, Justice Stephen Kaye and Justice Terry Forrest) heard an application for leave to appeal and an appeal against sentence by Ibrahim Abbas on 19 March 2020.

Ibrahim Abbas was sentenced on 20 September 2018 after pleading guilty to a charge of conspiring with others to do acts in preparation for or planning a terrorist act.

The judgment in this matter was handed down on 3 April 2020.  Leave to appeal was refused.
