The Supreme Court of Victoria congratulates Justice Ian Waller on his appointment to the Court, effective 12 September 2023.
The Court warmly welcomes the appointment of the Honourable Justice Ian Waller KC as a judge of the Commercial Court.
Justice Waller joined the Bar in 1989 and took silk in 2007. His Honour brings considerable expertise in commercial law, including in the areas of corporations law, trade practices, trusts, property, professional negligence and class actions.
His Honour holds a Bachelor and Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne and has served as a member of the Victorian Legal Admissions Committee since 2008.
A welcome ceremony for Justice Waller will be held later this year.
