The Supreme Court of Victoria congratulates Associate Justice Catherine Gobbo on her appointment to the Court, effective 15 August 2023.
Associate Justice Catherine Gobbo has today been appointed as an associate judge in the Supreme Court of Victoria.
Her Honour brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial law as a legal practitioner.
Working as a barrister since 2004, her Honour specialised in commercial disputes, corporations law matters, corporate and personal insolvency, and banking and finance. Associate Justice Gobbo holds a Bachelor and Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne and is a nationally-accredited advanced mediator. Her Honour will work as an Associate Justice across commercial matters. Her appointment is effective from today.
