The Attorney-General, Martin Pakula, today announced that Justice Anne Ferguson will be the next Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Victoria following the retirement of Chief Justice Marilyn Warren AC later this year. Justice Ferguson will be sworn in officially as Chief Justice in early October 2017.
Chief Justice Warren has extended her warmest congratulations to Justice Ferguson.
