New judicial appointment – Court of Appeal | The Supreme Court of Victoria

Victoria’s Solicitor-General, Kristen Walker QC, has been appointed as judge of the Court of Appeal, effective 3 May 2021.

Ms Walker has practiced as a QC across several jurisdictions, including the High Court, Federal Court, and Victorian and ACT Supreme Courts. In 2017, Ms Walker was appointed as Victoria’s Solicitor-General.

The Court congratulates and warmly welcomes Ms Walker, who brings over 25 years of practice in the legal profession.
