To help slow the spread of COVID-19, most hearings are now held virtually.

Until further notice, the entrance to the Old High Court building in Little Bourke Street is closed. Registry services continue to be available at Level 2, 436 Lonsdale Street 9.30am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.

If you need to attend Court, the Trial Division can be accessed via the 210 William Street entry. QR recording systems are in place at each building’s security screening area to comply with the latest directions from the Chief Health Officer.

Entrants will be required to record their details via scanning QR code with their smartphone, which will direct them to a website form. Once collected, the information will be securely stored with the time and location of their check-in. If entrants do not have a smartphone, Security Officers will assist them to record their details.

Please note that codes are different at each building, you must check-in at each building.

The health and safety of judicial officers, staff, and Court users is of the highest priority. We thank all those coming into the Court for their patience and understanding as we work together to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
