The Supreme Court, with the County Court, held a seminar on the use of technology in trials, for the legal profession.

More than 100 legal practitioners and members of the judiciary attended the seminar on 15 November 2018, which introduced the Supreme and County Courts’ initiatives in relation to the use of technology in trials.

Chaired by the Judge Philip Misso, Judge-in-Charge of the County Court’s Common Law Division, Justice John Dixon, Principal Judge of the Supreme Court’s Common Law Division, Judge Andrea Tsalamandris of the County Court, and Ms Julia Frederico of the Victorian Bar, spoke about their experiences and the benefits of going paperless in the courtroom.
