Court users will soon find it easier to submit litigation and court file search requests.

On 30 June 2025, the new RedCrest-Search website will launch, where you will be able to:

  • complete an online form to submit litigation searches (name searches)
  • complete an online form to request access to documents on a court file
  • pay any associated fees
  • view and download results of litigation searches
  • view and download documents requested in a court file search (if approved by the registry).

More about litigation searches

The new RedCrest-Search enhances your ability to conduct litigation searches, giving you the option to perform a search on partial or exact matches, specify a date range, and search up to 30 names on one online form. Litigation search results will also be delivered faster – with results available to download the next day.

More about court file searches

You can also request a court file search using an online form. If your search request is approved, you will be able to download the documents using RedCrest-Search.
