These forms are to be used where an executor wishes to renounce their role as executor.
An executor who wishes to renounce their role as executor is to complete and sign a renunciation of probate form.
Before the executor signs the renunciation of probate form, a legal practitioner should explain the effect of the renunciation to the executor, then witness their signature.
That legal practitioner is to then complete and swear/affirm an affidavit of verification.
