A class action on behalf of persons suffering injury, damage or loss as a result of the St Patrick's Day fires that prompted evacuations across south-west Victoria.
The claim is against electricity supplier Powercor and alleges that the fires were caused by an electrical discharge between powerlines, with the resulting sparks or heat igniting dry vegetation at Terang, Victoria.
This proceeding will be listed for a case management conference on a date to be fixed.
The Supreme Court daily list should be referred to from 4pm the day prior to confirm hearing times and courtroom venues.
The deadline by which group members could opt out of the proceeding was 4pm Friday, 21 December 2018.
