The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Victoria, Anne Ferguson, today addressed a Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) ‘Essential Briefing for the Profession’ online event.

Chief Justice Ferguson spoke about improvements in the courts that will assist litigants, changes to Court operations following the easing of restrictions and the removal of the work from home recommendation, and the evolving role played by practitioners.

Other speakers included the Hon. Jaclyn Symes, Attorney General of Victoria; Fiona McLeay, Victorian Legal Services Commissioner and Victorian Legal Services Board CEO; and Tania Wolff, LIV President.
