Trial Management Directions Hearings  

Complete the Trial Management Directions Hearing Form if you want the Court to conduct the Trial Management Directions Hearing on the papers.

You may complete and file the form if:

• all parties have followed the timetable
• the parties do not need to appear before the Court
• there are no outstanding issues that require the Court's consideration before the hearing.

A hearing on the papers allows the Court to make a decision based on written material without requiring the parties to attend.

Complete the prescribed Trial Management Directions Hearing Form and file it through RedCrest by 4.00pm on the Wednesday of the week of the hearing and provide a sealed copy to the List by email.

This process is available for matters in the Institutional Liability, Dust Diseases and Personal Injury Lists. It may also be used for Post Mediation Directions Hearings.
