Guide for people seeking permission to publish information about victims of sexual offences

Under Victorian law, there are restrictions on publishing information that could identify a victim of a sexual offence. The Supreme Court, County Court and Magistrates’ Court have developed guidance to assist those wishing to publish information.

Waiver of child's attendance request form - Criminal Division

This form should be used to request that a child be excused from attending a 21 day rollover, where that child is remanded in custody to appear before the Supreme Court, in accordance with the Practice Note SC CR 10.

Post-committal directions hearing questionnaire

This questionnaire should be jointly completed by parties ahead of the post-committal directions hearing (PCDH).

Notice of intention to adduce coincidence evidence

Form to give notice, under section 98(1) of the Evidence Act 2008, of intention to adduce evidence.

Use this template to make an application under s 198B of the Criminal Procedure Act 2009.

Form to give notice, under section 67 of the Evidence Act 2008, of intention to adduce evidence and argue that the hearsay rule does not apply to the evidence.
