The Court's eFiling systems RedCrest and RedCrest-Probate will be undergoing scheduled maintenance from 1am to 12pm on Sunday 29 April. RedCrest and RedCrest-Probate will be unavailable during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

From 1 June 2017 the Court of Appeal will commence a pilot of making audio-visual recordings of its criminal hearings publicly available through the Supreme Court of Victoria's website. Some types of hearings will be excluded from the pilot.

Updates:

This Notice was amended on 20 June 2017 to provide further information about objections that may be made to a recording being included in the pilot; to indicate that the audio-visual recordings will be made available on the Supreme Court of Victoria website; and to replace the word 'streaming' with 'webcasting' to avoid any suggestion that in the usual course, recordings will be made available in real time.

This notice was further amended on 16 July 2018 to reflect that the pilot has been extended beyond its original six month term.
